Wnba All Star Voting opens June 11; fans get 17 days to pick starters

All Star Voting 2026 presented by opened Thursday, June 11 at 2 p.m. ET, launching a 17-day window for fans to help choose the All-Star starters for the 2026 WNBA All-Star Game.

Fan ballots can be submitted on WNBA.com and in the WNBA App using a free WNBA ID, with one ballot allowed per fan each day until voting closes Saturday, June 27 at 11:59 p.m. ET. Fans may reuse previously submitted players on subsequent ballots during the voting period.

The league has set three 2-for-1 Days that double the value of fan participation: June 12, June 17 and June 24. Each 2-for-1 Day runs from midnight ET through 11:59 p.m. ET.

Only players currently on WNBA team rosters are eligible for fan selection; Developmental Players are not available for selection.

Fan voting carries the largest single share of the starter decision, accounting for 50 percent of the total. The remaining half is split evenly: current WNBA players account for 25 percent and a media panel provides the other 25 percent. Players and media panelists each submit one ballot composed of four guards and six frontcourt players.

The four guards and six frontcourt players with the highest combined scores across the three groups will be named starters. If players in a position group finish with the same score, fan voting will serve as the tiebreaker.

After the starters are determined, the league's 15 head coaches will select 12 reserves. Coaches will cast votes for three guards, five frontcourt players and four players at either position, regardless of conference, and they are prohibited from voting for players on their own teams.

The two head coaches for the All-Star Game itself will be the head coaches of the teams with the best records following games on Friday, July 10. The 2026 AT&T WNBA All-Star Game is scheduled for Saturday, July 25 at United Center in Chicago and will be broadcast on ABC at 8:30 p.m. ET.

The league has said the announcement dates for the starters and reserves will be shared later; until then, the practical calendar is clear: vote daily through June 27, watch for the coach pairings after July 10, and expect the exhibition at United Center on July 25. The immediate next step for anyone who wants a say is to create a free WNBA ID and cast a ballot before the window shuts.
