Multiple shot near Old West End Festival in Toledo as police search area

Multiple people were shot near the in Toledo on Saturday evening, sending officers to the area of Delaware Ave. and Glenwood Ave. just after 5:30 p.m. said the injured were taken to area hospitals for treatment.

By 6:30 p.m., a TPD spokesperson said officers were actively searching nearby areas for those involved in the shooting. Police asked the public to avoid the area of Delaware and Robinwood Avenues while investigators worked to piece together what led up to the gunfire.

The extent of the injuries was not yet known Saturday evening, and police had not identified the alleged shooter or shooters. That left the scene near the festival unsettled as officers widened the search and kept the public away from the immediate area.
