CMA Fest returns to downtown Nashville from Thursday, June 4 through Sunday, June 7, with nightly headliners at Nissan Stadium and free daytime performances on outdoor stages clustered around Broadway.
Ella Langley, Jason Aldean and Luke Bryan are among the artists scheduled for Nissan Stadium each night; the stadium’s main and platform stages are ticketed-only, while rising artists and surprise guests will appear across the festival’s free daytime stages, Broadway bars and Spotify House.
The festival footprint covers just above two square miles, and most CMA Fest stages surround the greater Broadway area. Fan Fair X, inside Music City Center, will host the CMA Close Up Stage and the Spotlight Stage but requires ticketed entry separate from the free outdoor shows.
Officials say the best way to move through the footprint is on foot, and maps are posted across downtown to guide attendees. Nissan Stadium sits right across the John Seigenthaler Pedestrian Bridge from the main festival area, and pedestrians can also use the Woodland Street Bridge or the Korean Veterans Boulevard Bridge to reach stages and viewing areas.
For those driving, CMA Fest officials are asking general ticket holders to use rideshare services, SpotHero and other public parking options rather than searching for curbside spots. A designated rideshare pickup and drop-off will operate at Crutcher Street between S 2nd St and S 3rd St to keep traffic moving near the primary festival zone.
The CMA Connect App is recommended for live updates on stage capacities, weather announcements, maps and other logistics; maps and posted signage around downtown are intended to help attendees pick routes and meeting points. Organizers say maps and the app will be the best source for last-minute stage changes and capacity notices.
Even with walking and public parking recommended, Nissan Stadium’s nightly shows and concentrated downtown performances will create predictable surges of people moving between the stadium, pedestrian bridges and clustered stages. That concentrated movement is likely to form bottlenecks at key crossings and the Crutcher Street rideshare point during set changes and after headline acts finish.
Temperatures are expected to be warm. The primary forecast shows highs in the mid 80s with lower humidity for much of the festival, but a few thunderstorms could pop up Saturday and rain chances are slightly better by Sunday. Local forecasts from WKRN call for upper-80s on Friday, a peak near 90 on Saturday with increasing humidity, and a decent chance for midday showers on Sunday; WKRN also flags higher storm potential into Monday and Tuesday after the festival.
Audiences planning to mix ticketed stadium shows and free stages should check stage assignments and Fan Fair X entry rules before they arrive. Ticketed stadium stages and Fan Fair X events operate on separate access rules; free stages do not guarantee entry to indoor Fan Fair X programming at Music City Center.

CMA Fest runs through Sunday, June 7; organizers and local officials say they will rely on maps, the CMA Connect App and posted signage to manage flow and communicate weather notices. What remains unclear for the public is how many people will arrive each day and how exact stage capacities and parking limits will be enforced — details that could determine how quickly crowd pinch points ease each evening. Festivalgoers should download the app, plan to walk where possible, and expect concentrated movement at bridges and the Crutcher Street rideshare zone after headliners leave Nissan Stadium.
