Lottery Results Today: Powerball numbers hit Wednesday, May 27 drawing

drew 5, 14, 21, 31, 51 with a Powerball of 13 on Wednesday night, May 27, 2026, and no ticket matched all six numbers to claim the jackpot. The game’s Power Play was 4x, but that did not produce a top prize winner either.

The jackpot now rolls to Saturday, May 30, when Powerball says the prize will be $172 million with a $75.6 million cash option. That is the immediate result of a drawing that was already drawing attention because the prize had climbed to $154 million before the numbers were pulled, even as no one hit the combination needed to end the run.

The main prize had already been on the move for weeks. Powerball last crowned winners on May 2, when players in Florida and Texas split a $20 million jackpot, and before Wednesday’s drawing, players in Kansas and Indiana split a $143.4 million prize in the previous one. Wednesday’s outcome extends that rollover and keeps the next drawing in focus.

There were still a few smaller wins in play, but not the one players were chasing most. Zero tickets matched all five white balls except the Powerball for the $1 million secondary prize, and no ticket hit the top prize, either. For that side game, the numbers were 4, 9, 43, 62 and 68 with a Powerball of 3, and nobody matched all six for the $10 million jackpot or all five plus the Powerball for $500,000.

Powerball drawings are held three times a week, at about 10:59 p.m. ET on Monday, Wednesday and Saturday, and tickets cost $2. Players can add Power Play for another $1 or Double Play for another $1. In New Jersey, the cutoff is 9:59 p.m. on drawing day; in New York, it is 10 p.m. The schedule matters because the next shot comes fast, and the Wednesday numbers set up another round of interest before Saturday night.

The open question for players is not whether the jackpot moved on — it did — but whether any ticket sold in a specific state picked up one of the smaller payouts from Wednesday’s draw. Those prize claims can follow after the numbers, but the headline result is settled: no jackpot winner, and the pot rises again for the next drawing.
