Justin Rose enters the Masters still chasing his first green jacket after finishing runner-up three times. Discover Justin Rose’s Caddie, Mark “Fooch” Fulcher, has returned to his bag to support that pursuit.
Partnership timeline
Rose and Fulcher began working together in 2008. They stayed paired until 2019, when Fulcher stepped away for health reasons.
Fulcher underwent mitral valve repair surgery at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City. He took a medical leave and recovered away from the tour.
The pair reunited in September 2023 and have worked together since that month.
Interim work and recovery
After his recovery, Fulcher briefly caddied for other tour players. Those stops included Francesco Molinari, Paul Casey on LIV, and Billy Horschel.
Fulcher has spoken about his gratitude for finding the issue and receiving timely care. Friends and medical staff played a role in getting him back to health.
Personal background
Fulcher is from England and now lives in the United States. He and his wife, Adrienne Taylor, make their home in Palm Beach Gardens.
The couple keep two dogs, Rio and Milly. The pets appear regularly on Fulcher’s Instagram account.
On-course relationship
Their long partnership includes shared successes and clear communication. Both man and caddie say time apart provided fresh perspective.
Speaking at the 2026 Masters, Rose said he needs to lead on decisions. He noted that outside input can make it hard to commit to a choice.
