How to Prepare for Your Second Expedition

With the second expedition on the horizon, Raiders can prepare for exciting new adventures beyond the Rust Belt. This journey begins with sign-ups on February 25, and departure is scheduled for March 1. This is an excellent opportunity for players to start fresh with new characters, along with enhanced buffs and bonuses.

Key Information for Raiders

Prior to this expedition, the ARC Raiders Team has made significant adjustments based on player feedback. One major change involves lowering the required Stash value for maximum rewards. The new requirement is now set at 3 million Coins, equating to 600,000 per Skill Point. Raiders who reach this Stash value will still earn 5 Skill Points.

Catch-Up Mechanic

For those who did not gather enough Coins during the first expedition, there will now be a Skill Point catch-up system. This allows players to reclaim missed Skill Points at a discounted rate. To maximize rewards, players must gather 300,000 Stash value for each Skill Point they missed from the previous expedition. Here’s how it works:

• Coins will count towards Skill Points for the new expedition first.
• Any missing Skill Points from the first expedition will be accounted for later.
• Players can utilize the catch-up mechanic to close the gap over time.

It’s important to note that future expeditions may feature changes in rewards and requirements. Players should also be aware that bonus Skill Points won’t be available indefinitely for those who choose to continue embarking on expeditions.

Rewards and Additions

First-time participants in this expedition will receive rewards from the prior expedition. For returning Raiders, several benefits await:

• Increased Stash space and additional Skill Points will be granted.
• Permanently earned bonuses from previous expeditions will be preserved, even if a player opts out of further departures.

Participants joining their second expedition will enjoy enhanced features, including:

• Four additional toggles for the Patchwork outfit.
• New color options for the Patchwork outfit.
• A new Scrappy outfit exclusive to second-time participants.

Consecutive Buffs

Players continuing to embark on consecutive expeditions will see buffs stack up:

• XP boost increases from 5% to 10%.
• Scrappy materials boost rises from 6% to 12%.
• Repair value enhancement grows from 60% to 70%.

The Trophy Display Project and various cosmetic items, alongside Raider Deck progress, unlocked regions, leaderboard position, Trials, Codex entries, and Raider Tokens will remain unaffected by the expeditions. The updates to graphics, cosmetics, and rewards aim to enrich the player experience as new adventures unfold.
