Sony Unveils Guerrilla’s New Co-Op Horizon Hunters for PS5 and PC
Sony has officially unveiled Guerrilla Games’ latest project, Horizon Hunters Gathering, a live service multiplayer game designed for PlayStation 5 and PC. This title promises players an engaging experience that emphasizes teamwork and tactical gameplay.
Key Details About Horizon Hunters Gathering
A closed playtest is scheduled for late February, and interested players can sign up through the PlayStation Beta Program. Although no release date has been announced, the game is expected to support crossplay and cross-progression.

Additional Projects in the Horizon Universe
In addition to Horizon Hunters Gathering, Sony is also exploring other multiplayer avenues in the Horizon universe. NCSoft is developing Horizon Steel Frontiers, a massively multiplayer online role-playing game intended for mobile and PC. Though it is an NCSoft project, Guerrilla is involved in crafting the game’s world.
With Horizon 3 also on the horizon, set to appear in late 2024, and a live-action film adaptation planned for release in 2027, Sony continues to expand the Horizon franchise across various media platforms.
