Kisin responded, “I said he is British,” attempting to clarify his previous controversial remarks. However, Alexander pressed further, recalling Kisin’s use of the phrase, “He’s a brown Hindu,” which he argued undermined Kisin’s assertion of Sunak’s British identity.

Kisin elaborated on his perspective, stating, “I said he’s just like me. I’m not English. There’s a difference between saying you’re English and you’re British.” This distinction prompted further questioning from Alexander about Sunak’s English identity, to which Kisin maintained, “No, I don’t think he is. I think he’s British.”

In response, Alexander noted that many former Conservative leaders had joined Reform UK, emphasizing the party’s potential influence on British politics.
