Cox has an extensive coaching history, specifically in defensive back roles. He has been involved with cornerbacks or safeties for various college programs since 2017. Additionally, he has participated in the Bill Walsh Diversity Coaching Fellowship three times, including two stints with the Chiefs in the 2022 and 2023 offseasons.
