In recent days, a segment of Naměstí míru square in Prague transformed into a vibrant scene from the 19th century. Historic carriages adorned with flowers were strategically placed outside the Basilica of St. Ludmila. Many extras, dressed in elaborate period costumes, populated the area, while a crane elevated a camera to capture stunning shots of the church.
Filming of “The Age of Innocence” in Prague
This adaptation of Edith Wharton’s renowned novel, “The Age of Innocence,” is generating significant excitement. Prior versions include Martin Scorsese’s acclaimed film from 1993. The latest adaptation stars Kristine Froseth and Ben Radcliffe in lead roles. Notably, American actress Camila Morrone portrays the captivating countess, recognized for her role in the crime drama “Marmalade.”
