EasyJet Begins Flights from Edinburgh to Vibrant Historical Capital
EasyJet has launched direct services between Edinburgh and Ljubljana. The inaugural flight departed on Wednesday morning.

The new link will operate twice weekly. Flights run every Wednesday and Saturday from Edinburgh.

One-way fares start at £43.99. Package holidays including flights and hotels begin from about £260 per person for three nights.
Options include three, four and five-star hotel packages. These combine accommodation and return flights for convenience.

Ljubljana is a compact, pedestrian-friendly capital. Its old town features cafés, boutiques and notable landmarks.
Visitors often seek out Ljubljana Castle and the Triple Bridge. Natural attractions like Lake Bled and the Julian Alps are nearby.

Lynsey Burns, head of Aviation at Edinburgh Airport, said the route adds variety to the departures board. She highlighted easy access to lakes, mountains and historic streets.
Kevin Doyle, easyJet’s UK Country Manager, welcomed the launch. He described Ljubljana as a charming, underrated capital and noted the airline’s continued investment in Scotland.
