Pocono Raceway will host the ARCA Menards Series on Friday of its 2026 race weekend instead of the planned CRAFTSMAN Truck Series, with the support race billed as the Pocono ARCA 150.
The change means there will be no Truck Series event on the Pocono weekend this year. Track officials say Fox, which also broadcasts the Truck Series, told them it could not fit the Truck production into its schedule because of the broadcaster's World Cup commitments; the Truck teams run in San Diego the week before and are then off the following weekend.
Camping and arrival logistics were already being pushed forward. Pocono opened its campgrounds starting Wednesday ahead of the weekend and allowed fans to preregister for Wednesday entry, with priority given to long-tenured campers. Track leadership says the move was driven by strong demand and to give fans more time on site.
Demand has been brisk: the facility has posted three straight grandstand sellouts and five straight campground sellouts, and the infield is close to selling out. Pocono officials reported roughly 100 camping spots still available in the grandstand lot and said overall ticket sales are strong as the weekend approaches.
The ARCA return to Pocono is a dated, verifiable replacement: the track last hosted an ARCA race in 2023, when Jesse Love won the event. Organizers have confirmed the Pocono ARCA 150 as the Friday fixture for the 2026 weekend; beyond that, Friday programming will be revised around the ARCA race instead of Truck Series practice, qualifying or a support race.
The switch leaves a practical gap for fans who planned their trip around a Truck Series appearance. With no Truck race anywhere on the weekend and the ARCA field now filling the Friday slot, organizers will need to determine whether to add additional on-track sessions, off-track events or schedule adjustments to replace the time fans might have expected the Trucks to occupy.
Pocono's early campground opening and registration push reflects that imbalance: the track is leaning into heavy camping demand even as the Friday lineup shifts. Officials said the Wednesday entry and preregistration were meant to smooth arrivals after recent weather- and traffic-driven problems at the facility during prior seasons.
The next confirmed step is straightforward: the Pocono ARCA 150 will run on Friday of the 2026 race weekend. The most consequential unanswered question for many fans is whether Pocono Raceway will add further Friday attractions or schedule changes to make up for the absence of the CRAFTSMAN Truck Series and to meet expectations of those who booked tickets and campsites for a Truck weekend.
