PM Khieng Attends 50th Anniversary of Dedicated Karen Priest Father Guyou
On February 7, 2023, Khieng Chingchai, a candidate for the House of Representatives from Tak Province, participated in a significant event honoring the 50th anniversary of Father Guyou’s dedicated service. Father Guyou, a French priest, earned respect and admiration from the Karen community and highland residents of Tak Province.

Father Guyou devoted his life to religious and social work in remote areas. His contributions included teaching and improving the quality of life for the local community. He was instrumental in developing several key routes to mountain areas, which greatly aided accessibility for the indigenous tribes.
