The qualifiers took place on a Sunday at the Livigno snow park. Among the Canadian athletes, Arnaud Gaudet achieved the top performance, finishing fourth among male competitors. His combined time was 1 minute and 26.57 seconds, just 1.44 seconds behind the leading time set by Italian snowboarder Roland Fischnaller, who clocked in at 1:25.13 seconds.

In the women’s division, the leading time was established by Czech athlete Ester Ledecka, who recorded a time of 1:30.79.
