Celtic Park: Streamlining Ticketing and Logistics

Celtic Park: Streamlining Ticketing and Logistics

Derry City return to action this weekend at their temporary home, Celtic Park. Shamrock Rovers are the visitors for the occasion.

Parking and access

No parking is permitted inside Celtic Park. Fans must respect local residents in the Brandywell area.

Drivers should avoid blocking footpaths or private property. Please follow all local parking rules.

Match-day parking for 150 cars is available at St Cecilia’s. Disabled parking within the stadium is very limited.

Those disabled spaces will be allocated to badge holders on a first come, first served basis. Spectators are encouraged to use other Derry City car parks.

Supporters are advised to check local maps before travel. Consider alternative routes if Craigavon Bridge is congested.

Ticketing and stadium entry

Organisers have focused on streamlining ticketing and logistics for this fixture at Celtic Park. Clear entry routes and ticket policies aim to speed access.

Season ticket holders

Season ticket holders will be seated in the Tommy Mellon Stand on a first come, first served basis. There is no fixed seating allocation.

Block E, the central seating, is reserved for directors, sponsors, visiting guests, and visiting club delegates. Early arrival is advised to secure preferred seats.

Season ticket holders who prefer standing may use the terrace. Entry to the Tommy Mellon Stand is via the Lone Moor Road turnstiles.

Match ticket holders

Fans with Brandywell Terrace or College Field Terrace tickets should use the Lone Moor Road turnstiles. BlueBell Terrace ticket holders enter via Stanleys Walk.

Tickets are on sale online. Adult tickets cost £10, while under-16s and over-65s pay £5.

A family terrace ticket admits two adults and two children for £25. The family option is available because the venue has greater capacity.

Fan zone and merchandise

A Fan Zone will operate for home supporters only. The area will include a beer container and club merchandise sales.

Merchandise will be available for purchase inside the fan area. It serves as the primary retail point on match day.

Match-day regulations

No alcohol is permitted inside Celtic Park. Stewards will enforce this rule throughout the ground.

The surrounding area has the same alcohol-free restriction. Supporters must comply when arriving and leaving.

Flares, smoke bombs, and pyrotechnics are banned both inside and outside the stadium. Possession or use of these items can lead to an indefinite ban from Derry City matches.

For safety reasons, supporters may be held briefly after the final whistle. Stewards will escort fans to transport when required.

All attendees should follow the instructions of stewards and security staff for health and safety reasons.
