Role and team context
Coach Jon Scheyer called Khamenia one of the team’s most competitive players. His role expanded late in the season and during the postseason.
He served as a frontcourt complement to teammates Cameron Boozer, Pat Ngongba and Maliq Brown. He was one of two Blue Devils to enter the portal, alongside guard Darren Harris.
Harris has committed to Indiana after leaving Duke.
