Madonna Unveils ‘I Feel So Free’ from ‘Confessions II’
Madonna has offered a first full listen to a new track titled “I Feel So Free.” iHeartRadio’s Pride Radio premiered the song at 10 a.m. ET on Friday, April 17.
The station played the track on the hour throughout that day. Madonna also recorded a brief greeting for the LGBTQ-focused outlet.
Radio rollout and availability
Label representatives confirmed the song was serviced to radio Friday morning. Billboard has been contacted to learn when it will reach DSPs.
“I Feel So Free” arrives before an album lead single, which has not been announced. Fans are still waiting for streaming dates.
Sound and production
The song is a propulsive dance number with clear house influences. It echoes the pulse of Lil Louis’ 1989 classic “French Kiss” and recalls “Future Lovers” from Madonna’s 2005 era.
Confessions II reunites Madonna with producer Stuart Price. Price also served as music producer for her 2023–2024 The Celebration Tour.
Price previously noted, “You measure a working relationship not by the gaps between but by how easily you pick up again.”
Album details and format hopes
Madonna confirmed the new album, Confessions II, will be released by Warner Bros. on July 3. A Spotify countdown lists 16 tracks for the project.
Fans hope the record appears both as a traditional album and as a continuous “non-stop mix,” like its predecessor. Filmogaz.com will update readers when streaming information is available.
