Threat assessment
Forecasters expect another round of severe storms to move in early this afternoon. Storms should clear the region before sunset.
Large hail up to 2–3 inches in diameter is possible. Damaging wind gusts and a few tornadoes may occur.
Some tornadoes could be strong, with potential ratings in the EF2 to EF3 range. Meteorologists warned that multiple warnings are likely.
