CBSE 10th Results 2026: DigiLocker Advises Early Account Setup

DigiLocker is the government cloud service for storing and verifying documents. The platform asked students to register before results are published.
The advisory aims to reduce delays in downloading digital certificates. Students can link their documents to official accounts for verification.
How and where to check results
CBSE will publish results on the board portals results.cbse.nic.in and cbse.gov.in. Students must use their roll number and date of birth to view scores.
Other required details may include school code and admit card information. The board will provide step-by-step instructions after declaration.
Exam schedule and session details
Class 10 board exams ran from February 17 to March 11, 2026. The session began with the Mathematics Standard paper.
All tests were held in a single shift. Each exam started at 10:30 am.
Second-board examination and improvement rules
A second board attempt is optional and meant for score improvement. It is scheduled from May 15 to June 1, 2026.
The syllabus for the second session remains the same as the first. Under the two-board scheme, students can seek improvement in up to three subjects.
Eligibility criteria
- Students failing in two subjects qualify as compartment candidates and may sit the second exam.
- Those who failed or missed three or more subjects cannot take the second exam.
- Ineligible students must appear in the main board examinations in 2027.
Registration and participation figures
The board reported 25,08,319 students were set to appear this year. Of them, 14,08,546 were male and 10,99,773 were female.
Exams covered 83 subjects across 8,075 examination centres. The board deployed staff and invigilation accordingly.
Last year’s benchmark
CBSE declared Class 10 results on May 13, 2025. That year, 23,85,079 students registered and 23,71,939 sat the exams.
Total successful candidates numbered 22,21,636, producing an overall pass percentage of 93.66 percent.
