Azzi Fudd Projected as Top Pick in 2026 WNBA Mock Draft
Filmogaz.com’s final projection for the 2026 draft era lists UConn shooting guard Azzi Fudd as the projected top pick. The mock board places her at No. 1, with the Dallas Wings expected to select. The draft is set for Monday night at 7 p.m. ET in New York.
Context and roster moves
The Wings have been active in free agency this week. Dallas re-signed veteran guard Arike Ogunbowale and will have 2025 Rookie of the Year Paige Bueckers on the roster.
Dallas also added Alanna Smith and Jessica Shepard, both former Minnesota Lynx players. Fudd’s elite 3-point shooting and improving defense make her a logical fit.
Top prospects and fits
Azzi Fudd arrives with notable college credentials. She was the Most Outstanding Player at the 2025 Final Four and shot 42.2% from three in her college career.
Her tournament finish was uneven. After a 34-point game with eight 3-pointers, she scored 31 points on 12-of-39 shooting across her final three contests.
Olivia Miles
TCU point guard Olivia Miles remains a highly regarded prospect. She averaged a career-best 19.6 points while TCU finished 32-6 and won the Big 12 regular-season title.
Miles recorded six triple-doubles this season. She made 73 three-pointers and is praised for court vision, though she needs defensive growth.
Lauren Betts and other frontcourt options
UCLA center Lauren Betts boosted her stock during the NCAA tournament. She shot at least 60% in all six tournament games and finished with a 68.8 field-goal percentage.
Betts averaged 21 points, 9.3 rebounds, 3.2 assists and 2.8 blocks during the tournament. She earned the Most Outstanding Player honor.
International and breakout names
A 19-year-old center known as Fam is averaging 9.2 points and 5.0 rebounds for Valencia in Spain. She offers upside as a young post player.
French forward Angloma averages 15.5 points and 5.6 rebounds for Basket Lattes Montpellier Agglomeration. She can play small forward or shooting guard.
Notable guards and wings
Flau’jae Johnson from LSU averaged 19.0 points and shot 39.3% from three this season. Her energy and defense stand out for an expansion franchise.
Raven Johnson of South Carolina earned SEC Defensive Player of the Year honors. She brings strength and versatile on-ball defense.
Kiki Rice of UCLA is projected in the early first round by this board. She averaged 14.9 points, 4.6 assists, and shot 90.2% from the foul line.
