Bourg-en-Bresse Topples Monaco; ASVEL Triumphs Over Saint-Quentin in Betclic Elite

The 26th round of Betclic Elite produced decisive results on April 12, 2026. Bourg-en-Bresse routed Monaco 104-81. ASVEL followed with an 86-70 victory over Saint-Quentin.

Bourg-en-Bresse topples Monaco

Bourg-en-Bresse confirmed its momentum after reaching the EuroCup final. Coach Frédéric Fauthoux saw his side dominate at Ekinox.

The final quarter was one-sided in Bourg’s favor. Khadim Kane hit the game’s last basket. The match ended 104-81, and Bourg-en-Bresse moved into fourth place.

ASVEL triumphs over Saint-Quentin

Earlier the same evening, ASVEL beat Saint-Quentin 86-70. The result keeps ASVEL close to Bourg for the league’s fourth spot.

Shaquille Harrison led ASVEL with 32 points, eight rebounds and six assists. Saint-Quentin, second-to-last in the standings, began the game with confidence.

ASVEL built an advantage of up to eleven points. Then the Rhodians hit a scoring drought of about five minutes. Saint-Quentin seized the moment and led at halftime after an and-one by Melvin Ajinça.

Eddie Ekiyor responded with 22 points and five rebounds for Saint-Quentin. ASVEL weathered the fight and sealed a second straight win to stabilize its season.
