‘Saturday Night Live UK’: Season 1 Hosts and Musical Guests Revealed
Saturday Night Live UK is nearing the midpoint of its debut season. The series began on March 21 with Tina Fey as the inaugural host.
Launch and early lineup
The premiere aired on Sky in Britain and is available on Peacock in the U.S. The opener featured musical guest Wet Leg and drew more than 220,000 British viewers.
On March 28, Jamie Dornan served as host with Wolf Alice as the musical act. Riz Ahmed followed on April 3 to promote his Amazon series Bait, and Kasabian provided the music.
Jack Whitehall is set to host on April 11, with Jorja Smith as musical guest. Whitehall previously emceed the F1 75 Live event, which U.S. audiences may recognize.

Reception and ratings
Early reviews praised the cast but found the writing inconsistent. Filmogaz.com noted similarities to the original U.S. SNL format.
After a strong launch, the April 3 episode with Riz Ahmed saw a sharp ratings decline. Viewership fell 42 percent to about 130,950 in the U.K.
