Starting April 1, Sorrento expands evening Ztl hours and introduces electronic gate checks to manage city-centre traffic. The measure runs through October 25 and aims to regulate vehicles during the busiest months.
Operating days and hours
The restricted-traffic zone will be active every day. Evening controls run from 19:30 until 04:00 the following morning.
On public holidays, authorities add a morning control window. That window lasts from 10:00 to 13:00.
Entry monitoring and locations
Access to the zone will be monitored by electronic gates at key points in the centre. These devices will check vehicles entering the controlled area.
