Akhtar had planned to expand her bakery business if she won. McCartney intended to launch his own estate agency.

Dan Miller’s student recruitment company was cited as strong competition. His sales performance in the pitches influenced the boardroom outcome.

Prize and broadcast details

The series winner will receive a £250,000 investment. They will also get the chance to go into business with Lord Sugar.
