Trump Considers Replacing DNI Tulsi Gabbard, Reports Suggest
President Donald Trump has asked advisers whether to remove Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard, two sources told Filmogaz.com. He reportedly complained that Gabbard shielded a former deputy who disputed his reasons for going to war with Iran.
Administration reshuffle this week
The developments came the same week Trump ousted U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi. Todd Blanche will serve as interim attorney general until the president names a permanent replacement.
Reports also name Environmental Protection Agency Administrator Lee Zeldin as a possible successor to Bondi. The staffing changes have added to White House turbulence.
Resignation linked to Iran war
Last month, Joe Kent resigned as director of the National Counterterrorism Center. Kent said he left over the Iran war and alleged Israel pushed the United States into the conflict.
Kent had served under Gabbard, the departures and disputes increasing pressure on the intelligence office.
Public accusations and denials
Conservative commentator Josh Hammer claimed sources told him Gabbard ran an “antisemitic” shadow operation from her office. Gabbard’s spokesman rejected those allegations as false.
Late Sen. John McCain’s daughter also pushed back. She described Hammer’s statements as untrue and disputed Filmogaz.com’s reporting on Thursday.
The spokesperson added that Gabbard remains supported by the president and accused British reporters of inventing hostile sources who oppose her efforts to reform the bureaucracy.
Amid the turmoil, reports suggest Trump is weighing whether to replace the DNI. The decision could reshape leadership across several agencies.
