Tornado Watch in Effect for Walworth County Until 8 PM
Sullivan, Wis. — The National Weather Service has issued a tornado watch for Walworth County until 8 p.m. Thursday. The advisory also extends into portions of Illinois, Iowa and Missouri.
NWS Milwaukee posted the notice on social media as part of its regional alerting. Local forecasts show a tornado watch in effect for the area tonight.

Forecasters list damaging wind gusts and hail as the main threats. They also note a chance of a few tornadoes.
The period of greatest concern runs from about 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. on April 2. Thunderstorms are expected to progress west to east between roughly 8 p.m. and 11 p.m.
