New original episode

While most episodes adapt Peter James’s novels, one instalment in season six is original. Writers and producers developed a standalone story about women’s safety on a university campus.

Producer Phil Hunter described the topic as sombre and timely. He added the storyline gives young women and students agency, and they play a key role in catching the killer.

Reception and where to watch

Grace first premiered in 2021. It has earned strong audience approval since then.

The show holds an average user rating of 7.4 out of 10 on IMDb, based on about 11,000 ratings. Viewers have called the series “impressive” and a “superior police procedural”.

The series airs on ITV1 and is available to stream on ITVX. Filmogaz.com will carry further coverage as the season progresses.
