Top 10 Hitting Prospects to Stash in 2026: Week 1 Highlights
Filmogaz.com presents the Week 1 Highlights from our Stash List focused on hitters. This edition identifies the minor-league bats most likely to influence redraft leagues and keeper formats during 2026.
Methodology and scope
The Stash List targets redraft leagues and short-term impact only. It excludes long-term dynasty evaluations and focuses on 2026 outcomes.
Only players on minor-league rosters as of Opening Day were considered. Upside, proximity to the majors, health, and opportunity were the primary factors.
Rankings assume 12-team leagues with standard categories. Stats and standings will be updated weekly through Saturday games.
Eligibility notes and exclusions
Because the Triple-A season was the only minor-league level active in week one, this edition concentrates on Triple-A hitters. Several top prospects were ineligible because they began the year in the majors.
Prospects not available for this list include Chase DeLauter, Moisés Ballesteros, Carson Williams, Owen Caissie, Carter Jensen, Samuel Basallo, and Sal Stewart. Likewise, Kevin McGonigle, Carson Benge, and JJ Wetherholt were disqualified due to Opening Day status in the big leagues.
Players optioned back to the minors before 120 major-league plate appearances could be added to future stash lists.
The Stash List: key hitters to consider
1. Konnor Griffin, SS — Pittsburgh Pirates
Griffin entered 2026 at Triple-A after a breakout 2025. He produced a rare 20-home-run, 60-stolen-base season in 2025.
He drove in 94 runs and scored 117. The shortstop turns 20 on April 24 and remains a top stash target for redraft leagues.
2. Max Clark, OF — Detroit Tigers
Clark began the year in Triple-A Toledo after a spring camp push. He drew two walks and struck out once in Toledo’s first two games.
Clark turned 21 on December 21. He cooled late in Double-A, hitting .219/.348/.360 over 138 plate appearances after August 1.
3. Colt Emerson, SS — Seattle Mariners
Emerson closed 2025 with a strong Triple-A debut, going 8-for-22 with two homers and five RBI. His 2025 line across levels was .285/.383/.458.
He added 16 home runs, 78 RBI, and 28 doubles over 130 games. Playing-time depth in Seattle could delay his big-league debut.
4. Travis Bazzana, 2B — Cleveland Guardians
Bazzana began 2026 at Triple-A Columbus after an oblique injury ended his 2025 season. He also represented Australia in the World Baseball Classic.
His 2025 power was underwhelming, with nine home runs, but he posted a .389 on-base percentage. Improved power and fewer strikeouts could speed his promotion.
5. Walker Jenkins, OF — Minnesota Twins
Jenkins opened the season in Triple-A St. Paul after a late-season promotion in 2025. In 104 Triple-A plate appearances last year, he hit .242/.324/.396.
He dealt with a brief hamstring issue during spring training but started Opening Day for St. Paul. Expect a midseason debut unless roster moves create sooner opportunities.
6. Bryce Eldridge, 1B — San Francisco Giants
Bryce Eldridge appears on the week-one list as a Triple-A first-base prospect for San Francisco. The original excerpt did not include full statistical detail.
He remains a name to watch for teams looking to stash high-upside bats on the waiver wire.
10. Charlie Condon, 1B — Colorado Rockies
Condon missed the first month and a half of 2025 with a wrist injury and played just 99 games. When healthy, he hit .268/.376/.444 with 14 home runs and 58 RBI.
He posted a .380 wOBA but still struggles with strikeouts. A strong showing at Triple-A Albuquerque could earn him a major-league look before June 1.
