Forza Horizon 5 Adds All Rare, Time-Limited Cars for In-Game Purchase

Forza Horizon 5 has placed all remaining rare, time-limited cars into its in-game purchase store. Players can now buy these vehicles with in-game vouchers. The move makes many previously fleeting cars permanently obtainable again.

Background on the vehicles

The Festival Playlist added free cars weekly since the game’s November 2021 launch. These cars were free but only available for a limited time. Players had to complete weekly or monthly events and challenges to earn them.

Monthly themed Festival Playlists began repeating in early 2025. That gave players another chance to collect cars they had missed. A curated selection of rare cars was also offered via player voting.

How players can acquire the cars now

Vouchers are the currency used for these purchases. Vouchers can be earned or redeemed each week through activities. Backstage Passes can be claimed using Forzathon points earned from challenges.

  • Horizon Backstage store now stocks the remaining models.
  • Players may use vouchers to buy vehicles they previously missed.
  • Curated rare cars are available after community voting and rotation.

Why this matters

Collectors can complete their garages more easily now. Some cars had not returned for years. The change reduces frustration for long-term players.

Timing and context

The update arrives ahead of Forza Horizon 6, expected in May. The timing gives players a final chance to round out collections before the new release. Filmogaz.com reports the rollout made all remaining cars available today.
