Flights To Boston Return as Delta Adds MSP–Maui, Expands Hawaii Winter Schedule
Delta will resume nonstop flights to Honolulu from Boston beginning Dec. 19, 2026, reopening a single-flight link from New England to O‘ahu and expanding its winter Hawaii network. Flights To Boston are part of a wider seasonal push that also launches Minneapolis–St. Paul service to Maui.
Flights To Boston reconnect New England and Honolulu
The Boston–Honolulu service will operate daily during the late-December holiday peak before shifting to four weekly frequencies through the winter season, flown on the Airbus A330-300. The returning route restores nonstop access from Boston Logan to Daniel K. Inouye International Airport on O‘ahu and offers Delta customers a single-flight option for island travel beginning Dec. 19, 2026.
New MSP–Maui nonstop and winter frequencies
Delta is also launching nonstop Minneapolis–St. Paul to Maui service, which will run daily during peak holiday and spring-break periods and five times weekly through the core winter season on the Airbus A330-300. The new MSP–Maui flights create a one-stop-free journey from the Upper Midwest to Maui’s beaches and resorts as part of the carrier’s expanded winter lineup.
Broader network tweaks and aircraft upgrades
The airline’s winter plan includes added flying from Atlanta, Detroit and New York JFK, an earlier Kona launch from Salt Lake City, and other aircraft enhancements across Hawaii routes. The A330-300 will offer four cabin options—Delta One, Delta Premium Select, Delta Comfort+ and Delta Main—with Delta One customers receiving lie-flat seats and chef-curated meals. SkyMiles members will see complimentary Delta Sync Wi‑Fi presented by T‑Mobile on Hawaii routes, and Boston customers will have access to a Delta One Lounge and three Sky Clubs while Minneapolis–St. Paul will feature three Sky Clubs, including a new lounge with seating for more than 450 guests and an outdoor Sky Deck.
"Hawaii plays an important role in our long-haul leisure network, " said Amy Martin, Vice President of Network Planning – Delta Air Lines, as the carrier described the expanded schedule and enhanced onboard experience. The changes are being presented as the airline’s most robust seasonal schedule to date for travel to the islands.
The next confirmed milestone is the Dec. 19, 2026 start date when Boston–Honolulu service resumes and the Minneapolis–St. Paul–Maui launch begins as part of the broader winter schedule; the airline has positioned both routes to operate on the Airbus A330-300 during peak holiday travel.
