The American Express tournament is set to showcase a remarkable lineup of golfers, highlighted by World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler. This event, hosted at La Quinta Country Club in Coachella Valley, California, marks the PGA Tour’s first stop on the mainland US for the 2026 season.

Scottie Scheffler will be seeking his first title at The American Express after an impressive 2025 season, where he secured two Major titles (the PGA Championship and The Open). He is joined by stellar competitors, including:
- Russell Henley (Ranked 5th)
- Robert MacIntyre (Ranked 6th)
- Ben Griffin (Ranked 8th)
- Justin Rose (Ranked 10th)
Moreover, nine of the top 20 golfers in the World Ranking will participate. Defending champion Sepp Straka, who achieved a remarkable minus-25 total last year, aims to retain his title.
