Palm Beach Schools Close for Martin Luther King Day
On January 19, Palm Beach County Schools will close in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day. This holiday provides a three-day weekend for students, teachers, and staff.
Celebrating Martin Luther King Jr.
In Palm Beach County, a range of events are planned to honor the legacy of Martin Luther King Jr. A significant highlight is the annual scholarship breakfast organized by the MLK Coordinating Committee. This event will take place at the Palm Beach County Convention Center.
Funds raised from the breakfast will benefit local students through scholarships and support community organizations, facilitated by the Black Chamber of Commerce of the Palm Beaches.
