Chicago to Host Earth Day Cleanups This Saturday
Chicago marks the 40th anniversary of its citywide Earth Day park cleanups this Saturday. Friends of the Parks is sponsoring the events. Residents are encouraged to join neighborhood efforts across the city.
Schedule and volunteer supplies
Cleanup shifts will run from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Organizers will provide supplies for volunteers. Participants should plan to arrive on time.

Drive-in donation event in Lakeview Roscoe Village
The Lakeview Roscoe Village Chamber of Commerce will hold a drive-in donation event. The event runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Blaine Elementary parking lot.
Residents may drop off technology, furniture, housewares, and other items. Collected goods will be responsibly recycled or donated.
