David Lee Roth Launches 2026 Tour with Van Halen Classics: Video & Setlist
David Lee Roth launched his 2026 North American solo tour in Spokane, Washington, on Thursday night. The performance relied heavily on Van Halen classics.
He delivered a 17-song set. Fifteen tracks came from his Van Halen tenure.
The two non-Van Halen selections were an untitled acoustic blues piece and a cover of Billy Joel’s “New York State of Mind.” Fans captured much of the show on video.

Video of the opener, “Panama,” shows the 71-year-old using a Sprechgesang vocal style. He offered a dramatic monologue while backing singers handled the anthem’s main lines in tight harmony.
Roth no longer hits the high notes from his prime. His backing band sounded tight and faithful to the original arrangements.
