Body of Missing Man Discovered in Inner Harbor Tuesday Morning
Filmogaz.com reports that the body of 27-year-old Branson Oduor was discovered in Baltimore’s Inner Harbor on Tuesday morning. Authorities recovered the remains near the 500 block of E. Pratt Street at about 8:10 a.m.
Oduor’s remains were transported to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner. An autopsy has been scheduled to determine the cause of death. Officials say the investigation remains active.
Known movements before disappearance
Surveillance footage and family accounts outline the hours before Oduor went missing. Investigators are using video to reconstruct his last known movements.
- He was reported last seen in the 1600 block of Thames Street around 1 a.m. on April 3.
- Other reports list him as missing around 2 a.m. on April 4.
- Video shows him leaving the Horse You Came In On Saloon at about 2 a.m., appearing intoxicated.
- Footage captured him speaking briefly with three unknown people before they separated.
- He walked west along Thames Street and was recorded passing the Sound Garden record store near 2:38 a.m.
- Baltimore Police told FOX45 he struggled to ride an electric bicycle and was stopped by private security.
- He was then seen running northbound on S. Central Ave from Fleet Street, according to police.
- Oduor’s girlfriend, Emily Costa, said investigators later found his motorbike and video of him riding in Harbor East around 4 a.m.
Response and ongoing work
Officials were observed working in the harbor waters around 8:30 a.m. on April 14. Divers and investigators remained on scene during the recovery operation.
Detectives continue to canvas for additional CCTV to fill gaps in the timeline. Authorities have asked the public and businesses to review footage from the area that night.
