Comparing Sleep Tracking: Garmin, Apple Watch, Oura Ring, and Whoop
Recent research aimed to evaluate the sleep tracking capabilities of popular wearable devices. - Whoop: Almost matched the Oura Ring in performance, especially for REM and light sleep, but struggled with awake time detection.
- Apple Watch: Best at detecting awake time and showed good results for light and REM sleep, though it struggled with deep sleep accuracy.

Next in line were:
- Fitbit: Delivered decent results, particularly for REM sleep. However, its performance lagged behind the top three.
- Garmin: Consistently underperformed in comparison to leaders, especially in tracking REM sleep.
