Meagan Good Chooses Jonathan Majors Over Her Pet Cat

In a candid revelation, actress Meagan Good shared her experience of rehoming her pet cat, Bam Bam, after falling for actor Jonathan Majors. The couple first crossed paths in late October 2022 and officially became a couple in early 2023. They tied the knot in March 2025.

Rehoming a Beloved Pet

During an appearance on the Picture This podcast, Good discussed the emotional decision of letting go of her cat. She answered a question about something she thought she couldn’t live without, stating, “Uh, my cat, ’cause I had to get rid of my little cat. His name is Bam Bam.”

Challenges with Pets

The actress explained that Jonathan already had two dogs when they met, and they later adopted a third dog together. This situation became stressful for Bam Bam. “The pups came with Jonathan. So, there were two pups, and then we got a third one. By the third one, Bam Bam was real upset and started using the bathroom in the bed,” she recalled.

Despite her initial reluctance to part with Bam Bam, Good ultimately prioritized her relationship with Majors. “At first I was like, I don’t know. I’m going to miss him and I really want him here. But then we had a puppy, and the puppy pushed him off the edge,” she explained.

A New Chapter with Jonathan Majors

When asked if she chose the puppy over her cat, Good clarified, “I chose the man.” This sentiment illustrates the impact of her relationship with Majors and the adjustments she made to embrace their life together.
