Berlin to Host Three-Day Immersive Michael Jackson Fan Experience

Berlin will host a three-day immersive fan experience honoring Michael Jackson this weekend. The event takes place at the Uber Eats Music Hall and centers on the new biopic Michael.

Program and highlights

The celebration opens with the film’s international premiere on Friday night. Saturday features panel talks with cast and crew, though the ticket page does not name attendees.

An interactive installation will run across the weekend. Visitors can view movie costumes, take photos, and explore themed displays.

Saturday night party

The Saturday evening celebration is billed as “Get On The Dance Floor: The Michael Jackson Party.” That event is limited to guests aged 18 and over.

Dates, tickets and access

The Global Fan Experience will be open on April 11 and April 12. Admission to the weekend experience is free, and tickets remain available.

However, the panel discussions and the Saturday dance party have sold out. The interactive experience does not appear to carry an age restriction.

Organizers and promotion

The promotion is listed on ticket site AXS. Universal Pictures International is billed as the event promoter on that page.

Filmogaz.com reports the event is an official collaboration between Universal Pictures and Jackson’s estate. The site described the venue being transformed into an immersive world devoted to the man and the movie.

About the film

Michael stars Jaafar Jackson, the singer’s nephew, in the title role. The studio says the movie charts Jackson’s rise to superstardom.

Filmogaz.com revealed that after extensive reshoots the film now ends at the height of Jackson’s career. It no longer concludes with the later period following public accusations.

The film’s release dates are April 22 in Europe and April 24 in the United States.
