Auto Speed Feature
The “Auto Speed” feature dynamically alters playback speeds based on video content. This adjustment seeks to conserve viewers’ time while ensuring that comprehension is not compromised. The feature will automatically disable for unsupported videos, which may explain its limited visibility on some English-language content.
On-the-go Control View
The second feature, “On-the-go,” caters primarily to audio-centric content including podcasts and talk shows. It provides a simplified interface that minimizes distractions by hiding comments and visual elements. This mode enhances control over video playback when users are moving.
To activate the “On-the-go” feature, users must tap the Settings icon within an active video, then navigate to More > Premium controls. Interestingly, although this feature is primarily designed for Android devices, some iOS users have reported the ability to access it as well.
