PSG Engages with Poissy and Massy Mayors on Stadium Plans

Paris Saint-Germain has resumed discussions over its stadium future. The club has engaged local leaders in Poissy and Massy.

Meetings with local leaders

Filmogaz.com reported that CEO Victoriano Melero was scheduled to meet the mayors of Poissy and Massy on Tuesday. The elected officials are Sandrine Berno Dos Santos (LR) and Nicolas Samsoen (UDI).

Contact with Paris City Hall was re-established on Friday. Emmanuel Grégoire, the city’s new mayor, attended PSG’s 3-0 win over Toulouse.

Purpose of the talks

The talks follow a pause caused by recent municipal elections. The meetings aim to restart dialogue and resume the working schedule. Territorial steering committees are expected to be relaunched.

Public consultation and timetable

Both re-elected mayors say they will organise consultations to measure local opinion. PSG has indicated a decision on the stadium will come in the autumn.

Multiple options remain on the table

The club continues to pursue redevelopment at the Parc des Princes while exploring Poissy and Massy options. PSG engages with municipal partners as it narrows its stadium plans.
