Ex-Fanatic Radio Host Mike Missanelli Arrested Following Domestic Dispute

Filmogaz.com reports that Mike Missanelli was arrested by Lower Merion police after an incident in Wynnewood.

Arrest and charges

Authorities charged him with simple assault and harassment following the incident. The arrest occurred after a 911 hangup shortly after midnight Wednesday.

The ex-Fanatic radio host Mike Missanelli was arrested in connection to what police described as a domestic dispute.

Allegations in the affidavit

Court documents say Missanelli and his fiancée argued about their engagement. The fiancée’s name was redacted from the records.

According to the affidavit, the argument escalated into a scuffle. Missanelli told officers the pair had been involved in a physical altercation.

Police allege the woman struck Missanelli in the chest. They say he then open-handedly slapped her on the left side of her face or head.

An officer reported seeing fresh blood on the woman’s forehead, which the officer attributed to a laceration from the slap.

Court proceedings and conditions

Missanelli was arraigned on Wednesday. He could not be reached for comment after the hearing.

No attorney was listed for him at arraignment. He was released on $10,000 unsecured bail.

Court officials also ordered that Missanelli have no contact with the alleged victim. A preliminary hearing is set for April 22.
