Walking Dead Star Returns to TV in Highly-Anticipated Comeback Next Month
Jon Bernthal will return to television next month as Frank Castle. Marvel Studios announced The Punisher: One Last Kill will stream on Disney Plus on May 5, 2026.
Fans first saw Bernthal’s Castle on Netflix in 2016. He debuted in Daredevil season 2 and later led two seasons of his own series on the platform.
Confirmation and timing
Marvel confirmed the Special Presentation in March. It is the first MCU Special Presentation since 2022.
The new one-off arrives the week after the Daredevil finale. Bernthal recently reprised Frank in Daredevil: Born Again season 1 last year.
