Timeline and Story

Two six-episode seasons are in production. Filming is underway in Birmingham.

Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man was released last month. In that film, Barry Keoghan originally played Duke Shelby.
Creator Steven Knight said he was excited to move the story into postwar Birmingham. He praised Bell and Heaton as principal leads. Knight added there will be further casting news before release.
