“Coronation Street: David and Shona Face Jodie’s Intensifying Threat”

Coronation Street has confirmed fresh trouble for David and Shona Platt. Jodie Ramsey has ulterior motives for being in Weatherfield.

Jodie’s arrival and motives

She debuted in January during the Corriedale special and later moved into the family home. Jodie is introduced as Shona’s long-lost half-sister.

She resents Shona for what she sees as childhood abandonment and is secretly scheming. Her aim is to undermine Shona in several ways.

Growing tension in the Platt household

Part of Jodie’s plan involves laying on the charm with David while Shona is away. That tactic began last month and will escalate soon.

In one upcoming scene, David takes a day off to binge-watch films at home. Jodie rings in sick and asks to join him.

David also confesses to a small prank. He swapped his broken wheelie bin for Lisa and Carla’s next-door bin, and Jodie finds it amusing.

David seems taken with her easy banter. A Corrie insider warns he is oblivious to Jodie’s true motives.

The source adds the Platts’ marriage could be vulnerable if she keeps scheming. They say Jodie is playing a long game and avoiding a quick move.

Threat to other characters

David and Shona are not Jodie’s only targets. Bethany Platt also crossed her path earlier this week.
