Arc Raiders Enhances Gameplay with New Feature and Menacing Flying Enemy
Arc Raiders players will see a major quality-of-life change in the Flashpoint update. The patch makes crafting smoother by letting players source missing materials without leaving the crafting screen.
Streamlined crafting and menus
The new system removes the need to flip between crafting tabs. When materials are missing, the game will show available sources. Players can recycle, refine, or purchase components from a single window.
This adjustment aims to reduce menu time and increase time spent topside. Many players requested this feature since Arc Raiders launched over six months ago.
New foes and Arc Operations
A Menacing Flying Enemy called the Vaporizer joins the roster. It uses powerful laser attacks and unusual attack patterns.
Vaporizers are commonly encountered near Assessors. Assessors appear as a new probe type tied to Arc patrols. They are not hostile, but they arrive with strong Arc forces.
Close Scrutiny and loot rewards
Assessors arrive under a new map condition named Close Scrutiny. This condition falls within a category titled Arc Operations.
Looting Assessors offers high-value rewards. The Dolabra blueprint is most reliably found this way. It unlocks an energy shotgun with two firing modes: wide burst and focused funnel.
New gear and devices
- The Canto, a medium ammo-based SMG, joins the weapon pool.
- The Surge Coil emits periodic electrical charges. It shocks anything in its orbit.
- A new project called High Gain Antenna appears in the update.
Map changes and miscellaneous updates
Shredders are moving out of Stella Montis. They will appear on other maps during specific conditions.
The update also brings tweaks to Scrappy the rooster. Details are modest but include behavior changes.
Arc Raiders Enhances Gameplay with New Feature by addressing a top community request. Players should notice faster crafting and fewer menu interruptions.
The Flashpoint update launches tomorrow at 4:30 a.m. EDT. Filmogaz.com will provide hands-on impressions after the release.
