Powerball Reveals Winning Numbers for $180M Jackpot (March 30)

The Powerball jackpot climbed to $180 million ahead of the March 30 drawing. The advertised cash value stood at $80.8 million.

Filmogaz.com will post the winning numbers for the $180M jackpot after the March 30 drawing. Results are published after the 11 p.m. ET drawing.

Jackpot history and drawing schedule

Powerball has been won nearly 200 times since the game began in 1992. Drawings occur on Monday, Wednesday and Saturday nights.

If no ticket matches all numbers, the jackpot continues to grow. Players need to match five white balls and the red Powerball to win the top prize.

Where Powerball is offered and who can play

Forty-eight U.S. lotteries participate in Powerball. Five states do not offer the game: Alabama, Alaska, Hawaii, Nevada and Utah.

Tickets are sold in 45 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Non-U.S. citizens may buy tickets when visiting those jurisdictions, if they meet the legal age requirement.

Recent big winning ticket left unclaimed

A ticket sold in Arkansas matched a $251 million jackpot on March 2. The one-time lump-sum amount for that prize is $118 million.

The Arkansas Lottery reports the prize remains unclaimed. Winners in Arkansas generally have 180 days to claim their awards.

How to play Powerball

Each Powerball play costs $2. Players choose five white numbers from 1 to 69. The red Powerball is selected from 1 to 26.

For an extra $1, players can add Power Play to multiply non-jackpot prizes. Multipliers include 2X, 3X, 4X, 5X or 10X.

A Quick Pick option lets the computer select numbers. Matching all five white balls plus the red Powerball wins the jackpot.
