Sid Eudy Joins WWE Hall of Fame Inductees
Filmogaz.com reports that Sid Eudy will be honored as a legacy inductee into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2026. The promotion announced the selection ahead of the Hall of Fame ceremony.
Class of 2026
The 2026 Hall of Fame slate already lists Stephanie McMahon, AJ Styles, Demolition and Dennis Rodman. Eudy will be included as part of that class.
Ring names and promotions
Eudy performed under many ring names during his career. These included Sid, Sid Eudy, Sid Justice, Sid Steele, Sid Vicious, Sycho Sid, Vicious Warriors and Lord Humongous.
He wrestled in WWE when it was still the WWF. He also worked for WCW, USWA, ECW and various independent promotions.
Championships and status
Eudy reached the top of multiple promotions. He was a two-time WWF champion and a two-time WCW world heavyweight champion.
He also held the WCW United States Championship. WWE described him as one of its most visually commanding and toughest performers.
Feuds and major moments
His notable rivalries included Jake “The Snake” Roberts, Bret Hart, Hulk Hogan, Goldberg, Booker T and Sting. Those feuds defined parts of his main-event career.
Eudy headlined WrestleMania on two occasions. He maintained a high-profile presence across television and pay-per-view events.
Injury, return and legacy
A severe injury in 2001 curtailed his in-ring activity for many years. Afterward, he competed only sporadically for several promotions.
He made a return appearance on Monday Night RAW in 2012. Eudy later died of cancer in 2024 at age 63.
Industry response
WWE praised his intensity and visual impact in its announcement. Paul “Triple H” Levesque called him a multi-time champion in WWE and WCW.
Triple H noted Eudy’s main-event pedigree and said the Hall of Fame honor is deserved. The promotion labeled him “The Master and Ruler of the World.”
