NRL 2026: Titans Announce Unchanged Opener, Four New Debuts Confirmed

NRL 2026 is set to be an exciting season for the Gold Coast Titans as they prepare for their opening match against the Sharks. The team has confirmed an unchanged line-up for this season opener, scheduled for Saturday afternoon at Shark Park.

New Debuts for the Titans

This match marks a significant moment for at least four players making their debut with the Titans. These fresh faces include:

  • Max Feagai (#203)
  • Lachlan Ilias (#204)
  • Kurtis Morrin (#205)
  • Siale Faeamani (#202) – playing on the wing

At just 21 years old, Faeamani’s debut is particularly noteworthy. He joins a growing list of talented players who will don the Titans’ colors for the first time.

Additional New Faces on the Bench

In addition to the four starters, the Titans will also welcome Luke Sommerton and Zane Harrison. Although uncapped, they are part of the six-man bench and could see action during the game.

Coaching Transition

This game will be the first for new coach Josh Hannay at the helm of the Titans. He returns to Shark Park, where he served as an assistant coach from 2021 to 2025.
