Thomas Rhett and his wife, Lauren Akins, have welcomed their fifth child. Their first son, Brave Elijah Akins, was born on February 27. The couple shared the news through their social media channels, revealing that Brave arrived nearly two weeks early, close to 10 pounds.

In their announcement, Rhett and Lauren expressed their joy, stating, “Our hearts are just in a big ole puddle with this precious baby BOY.” Initially, the couple expected their son to be born on March 2, with doctors estimating he could weigh around 11 pounds by then.
