Bridgerton Finale Honors Nicholas Braimbridge and Tony Cooper with Closing Dedication
The Season 4 finale closed with a dedication to nicholas braimbridge and Tony Cooper, a brief on-screen moment that drew attention to two behind-the-scenes crew members whose work shaped the series’ look and logistics.
The dedication appeared in the closing credits and as a short title card after the final scene. One version of the card read “In Loving Memory of Nicholas Braimbridge and Tony Cooper. ” Another description of the same sequence recorded the line as “In loving memory of Nicholas Braimbridge, Tony Cooper. ” The finale that carried the tribute was released on February 26, 2026, and the season’s second part remains available to stream.
Nicholas Braimbridge's work and the GoFundMe
Nicholas Braimbridge worked as a scenic artist on Bridgerton and the spin-off Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story, responsible for many of the faux finishes on the show’s grand interiors. Production designer Alison Gartshore created a GoFundMe in his honor after his death in May 2025 to help support his family. Gartshore wrote that “Nick Braimbridge was a hugely talented Scenic Artist, who very sadly passed away last week, ” and described him as an expert faux finisher known for exquisite marbling and wood grain finishes built up over years working with top-end interior designers and later in film and TV.
Colleagues remembered his craft and his family losses
Gartshore recalled that she worked closely with Braimbridge, calling him “an integral part of our Art department team, and was a delightful, charming, funny man – a true gent. ” She also noted that Braimbridge had recently suffered a personal loss: he “lost his wife to cancer just before Christmas this year, ” and he is survived by two daughters, Flora and Amelia, who are both still teenagers. The fundraising page set up by Gartshore aims to support the daughters and remains active; a campaign organized in his memory raised more than £10, 000 to support the children’s future.
From fine decorative painting to major film credits
Before his work on the series, Braimbridge worked as a fine decorative painter on high-end properties in London and international estates. His credits listed in materials about the tribute include work on Beetlejuice Beetlejuice, Gladiator II, A Quiet Place: Day One, and The Beekeeper, with his marbling and wood-grain finishes singled out as a signature contribution to the Bridgerton world.
Tony Cooper’s role and screen-crew resume
Tony Cooper was honored alongside Braimbridge. Cooper served as a unit driver, transporting cast, crew and equipment around sets and to various filming locations for Bridgerton and for the Queen Charlotte spin-off. His other credits as a cast driver include The Crown, The Batman, Spider-Man: Far From Home and Black Widow, marking a long career moving people and gear on large productions.
The closing tribute prompted viewers to look beyond the drama on screen to the people who build and move its settings. Both names—Nicholas Braimbridge and Tony Cooper—appeared in the finale’s final moments, a simple gesture that highlighted the behind-the-scenes work on the series.
What comes next: the season’s second part is currently streaming, the memorial fundraising page for Braimbridge’s daughters remains active and has raised more than £10, 000, and the show’s finale—released February 26, 2026—stands as the confirmed public moment when the dedication first appeared.
